Alcomby
Alcomby is an object of contemplation, a weaving of shadows and light, and the sweet spot between strength and fragility. Rooted in labour and the transformative ability of everyday materials, Alcomby reflects the alchemical talents of honeybees. The labourious and repetitive process is not a static or rigid parameter within this piece but rather makes for a slow and dynamic method of working that allows thoughtful adaptation to new materials, knowledge, research, and experience.
